MAD Lion Digital runs high-volume email marketing on our own sending infrastructure. We verify your list before anything goes out, authenticate your domain, write and send the campaigns, and report what each one produced. It is for any business with customers or patients who asked to hear from it, from retailers to clinics and hospitals. We are a physician-led agency based in Las Vegas, and we run campaigns in English and Spanish.
What’s included
- List verification before the first send. Invalid and risky addresses are removed before they bounce and hurt your sender reputation.
- Domain authentication. SPF, DKIM and DMARC on your own domain, plus a warm-up plan if your domain is new to sending.
- Compliance in every email. One-click unsubscribe, a visible unsubscribe link, your postal address and a record of how each contact opted in.
- Segments and automation. Segments by interest, behavior or language, and welcome series, drips and follow-ups that run on their own.
- Design and copy. Responsive templates tested in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, in English, Spanish or both.
- Reports you can read. Deliveries, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes and complaints for every campaign. We report opens but plan around clicks and bookings: Apple’s Mail Privacy Protection downloads email content in the background whether or not the person engages, which inflates opens.
Who it’s for
Any business that wants to reach its whole list regularly, from retailers and financial services firms to cleaning companies, restaurants, sports organizations and technology companies. For medical practices, clinics, hospitals and med spas, email carries recall reminders, seasonal campaigns, new services and newsletters, with the extra care described below.
What Gmail and Yahoo require from senders
Gmail and Yahoo began enforcing stricter sender rules in February 2024, and Gmail started ramping up enforcement against non-compliant mail in November 2025. As of October 2026, both ask bulk senders to:
- Authenticate with both SPF and DKIM, and publish a DMARC policy (p=none is the minimum), with the From: domain aligned with the SPF or DKIM domain.
- Offer one-click unsubscribe in marketing messages, plus a visible unsubscribe link in the body. Yahoo says to honor unsubscribes within 2 days; Google recommends 48 hours.
- Keep the user-reported spam rate below 0.3%. Google advises staying below 0.1%.
Consent, CAN-SPAM and list hygiene
The CAN-SPAM Act covers all commercial email, business-to-business included. Every marketing email needs accurate header information, a subject line that matches the content, a clear statement that it is an ad, your valid physical postal address and a working opt-out, honored within 10 business days. Each violating email can bring a separate penalty, and hiring an agency doesn’t transfer your legal responsibility.
The inbox providers go further: Google and Yahoo tell senders not to buy lists or email people who didn’t sign up, and Yahoo recommends confirmed opt-in. We verify every list before a campaign, remove hard bounces right away, suppress unsubscribes and complaints, and send long-inactive contacts a reconfirmation message or retire them.
Email for medical practices
HHS says names and contact details become protected health information (PHI) when listed with an indication that the person was treated at a certain clinic. A patient email list usually qualifies, so:
- Vendors: anyone who stores or sends that list for you is generally a business associate and needs a business associate agreement (BAA). Confirm it with your compliance advisor before the list leaves your systems.
- Marketing rules: HIPAA generally doesn’t treat messages about your own health-related services, or treatment communications such as refill reminders, as marketing. Other marketing needs the patient’s written authorization, including any communication a third party pays for.
- Content: keep diagnoses, conditions and visit details out of subject lines, email bodies and segment names. A recall reminder can say it’s time for an annual visit without saying why.
We only email patients who agreed to hear from you. Our guide to email marketing for medical practices covers what to send, and our guide to measuring marketing ROI shows how to tie campaigns to appointments. This is general information, not legal advice.
How we work
- Diagnosis: we review your list’s source, your sending domain and DNS records, and past results.
- Plan: segments, a sending calendar, monthly volume and one goal per campaign, such as bookings, sales or reactivations.
- Execution: we verify the list, set up and warm up the domain, write and design the emails, and send.
- Monthly follow-up: a plain-language report on deliveries, clicks, complaints and results, with next month’s changes.

Frequently asked questions
How much does high-volume email cost?
It depends on how many emails you send each month. Try the volume estimator on our home page, or tell us your list size and sending frequency in the free diagnosis, and we’ll quote that volume. Because the infrastructure is ours, you don’t pay per-subscriber pricing that climbs as your list grows.
Do the Gmail and Yahoo bulk-sender rules apply to us?
Google treats you as a bulk sender once you send close to 5,000 messages or more to personal Gmail accounts in 24 hours from the same primary domain, and the status is permanent. Yahoo doesn’t set a number, so we set up every sender to the bulk standard. The basics, SPF or DKIM, valid DNS records and a spam rate below 0.3%, apply to all senders either way.
Can we send to a list we bought?
Google and Yahoo both tell senders not to buy lists, and unrequested mail drives the complaints that send a domain to spam. In the diagnosis we review where your list came from and recommend how to use it, or how to grow one with consent.
