Henderson at a glance

Henderson is growing faster than the county around it. The Census Bureau estimates 353,289 residents on July 1, 2025, up 11.5% since April 2020, almost twice Clark County’s 6.2% (Vintage 2025).

  • An older, better-insured market. 20.8% of residents are 65 or older. 8.3% of residents under 65 have no health insurance, about half the City of Las Vegas rate of 15.7%. Median household income is $90,138 (American Community Survey, 2020–2024).
  • Hispanic and Latino residents. 18.1% of the population (ACS 2020–2024), close to the 17.9% counted in the 2020 Census.
  • Language. 19.0% of residents age 5 and older speak a language other than English at home (ACS 2020–2024).
  • A health care economy. Henderson’s health care and social assistance businesses reported $2.6 billion in revenue in 2022, more than the $1.8 billion in sales at its hotels, restaurants and bars. Retail sales reached $7.3 billion (2022 Economic Census).
  • New neighborhoods. City figures for January 2025 show Cadence at 57.8% of its planned homes and Lake Las Vegas at 39.2%, while Anthem is 97.7% built out, with an estimated 31,046 residents.

Reaching Hispanic and Latino residents in Henderson

Hispanic residents are a smaller share of Henderson than of its neighbors: about 18%, compared with 35% in the City of Las Vegas and 42% in North Las Vegas. That changes the plan. A Spanish campaign spread across the whole city is hard to justify; a focused one works better, with Spanish pages for the services Spanish-speaking customers ask about, ads written in Spanish and a phone line that can answer in Spanish.

Spanish is one of several languages to plan for. The City of Henderson’s Language Access Plan lists Spanish, Tagalog (Filipino), Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Arabic among the most common languages of residents with limited English proficiency, and the city published its proposed 2026 plan in Spanish and Filipino as well as English. If your customers reflect that mix, finish your English and Spanish site first, then translate key forms into the next language customers ask for.

Reach the family, not only the patient. One in five Henderson residents is 65 or older, and some Spanish-speaking older patients rely on a son or daughter to find and book care. A Spanish appointment request form, a callback option and clear directions in both languages make it easier for an adult child to book for a parent.

Look past the city line. Your customers may come from nearby unincorporated areas where the Hispanic share is higher: 38.1% in Whitney and 33.5% in Paradise in the 2020 Census. Set Spanish ad areas by drive time, not city limits, and name on your Spanish pages the neighborhoods you serve.

Plan for Spanish searches that pair a service with the city, such as “dentista en Henderson” or “clínica en Henderson NV.” Build Spanish pages around those phrases, keep your business name, address and phone identical in both languages, and ask satisfied Spanish-speaking customers for reviews the same way you ask everyone else. Our guide to patient reviews explains the rules for medical practices.

For local networking, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce passed 2,000 members in 2024. Our Hispanic marketing service covers strategy, Spanish content and campaigns.

Henderson neighborhoods, healthcare and Nevada rules

We meet Henderson businesses in person anywhere in the city, from established areas such as Green Valley, the Water Street District downtown, Anthem, Seven Hills and MacDonald Highlands to communities still filling in, such as Inspirada, Cadence and Lake Las Vegas, and the commercial areas of West Henderson. For the rest of the valley, see our pages for Las Vegas and North Las Vegas.

Henderson’s health care landscape keeps growing. Valley Health System opened the 150-bed West Henderson Hospital in December 2024, joining Henderson Hospital and Dignity Health–St. Rose Dominican’s Rose de Lima and Siena campuses. Touro University Nevada, founded in 2004, trains osteopathic physicians, physician assistants and nurses on its Henderson campus, and the city’s 2023 Target Industry Study lists health care and social assistance, with 15,949 jobs in 2022, among Henderson’s key industries. For an independent practice, the opening is in neighborhoods still filling in: in January 2025 Cadence had 57.8% of its planned homes and Lake Las Vegas 39.2%, so a practice that builds its local presence there early can become the familiar name for its specialty.

Med spas, wellness clinics, gyms and supplement sellers should know Nevada’s consumer health data law, which is part of NRS 603A. Businesses subject to HIPAA are exempt. Unless another exemption applies, others that collect health-related data from Nevada consumers generally must keep a consumer health data privacy policy with a clear link on their main website, get consent before collecting that data unless it is needed to provide a product or service the consumer asked for, and get a separate consent before sharing it. The law also bars geofences within 1,750 feet of a medical facility or other in-person health care provider used to track consumers or to send them health-related ads.

Frequently asked questions

Do you meet with Henderson clients in person?

Yes. Henderson is a short drive from our Las Vegas base, so we can meet at your business, and follow-ups can be in person or by video call.

Is a Spanish website worth it if most of my Henderson customers speak English?

Usually, if you start small. About 19% of Henderson residents speak a language other than English at home, and nearby areas such as Whitney and Paradise have a larger Hispanic share. Translate your most visited pages and your contact form first, measure the results, then expand.

Does Nevada’s consumer health data law apply to my med spa?

It depends. If your med spa is subject to HIPAA, the law exempts it. If it isn’t, and you collect information about clients’ health, such as treatments or conditions, the law may apply. Confirm with your attorney before launching new forms, tracking pixels or location-based ads.

Can you help a new business in Cadence or Inspirada get found?

Yes. A new business can set up and verify its Google Business Profile as soon as its address is final, publish a page that names the community and nearby streets, and start collecting reviews from its first customers. We can help with each step.
